Man's condition since the ancient times has been characterized by calamities (both natural and man-made). In this modern age nothing much has changed; it seems that man has not really learned lessons of the past. We are still plagued with racism ethnic strife and other social maladies. our very own existence is threatened by modern weaponry. Man has a complex nature and it looks like after centuries of studies science has not been able to fully understand human nature.

So if you were given a chance to ask God one question what will you ask Him?

I would ask him how long am i going to live for...?

But I'm in not that position to conclude that, neither too far from it. Before asking God about it, I would rather ask myself.
How you know that God exist? I'm not asking you to prove it, just asking to analyze the content of believe. Proving God's existing is a very old issue on which people are fighting long enough and I'm not interested to conduct or state any orthodox theory about it.

Every man dies, not every man really lives. If you give everything to God what left for us. That sound selfish, isn't it? But that's our reasons to find out the answer, what we are? A beast with intelegence, a human being or another worm roaming very very tiny space of the universe without knowing that it's existence doesn't make any sense or does it?

There is another question people tend to ask...specially to the Muslims.

And the answer to that would be...seeing isnt believe.
Half of wat you see might not even be true.
We belive there there is oxygen in the air...but we cant see it...why do we still believe in it.
Because...we might not be able to see it with out naked eyes..but we sure can see its effects.

You said you believe, but why you believe? Try to ask the basic question what is believe?
I told you before there is no universal answer for God's existence. You can't prove it, I can't prove it. A very old issue as I said before and I'm not interested to argue on that point.

What do you mean by this? These specific religious system such as Muslim, Hindu, taoism, christianism comes later, and people were talking about God for a long time. A simple explanation is that:
God created the universe and earth is so tiny that we can ignore it's existence, we are a kind of animal walking on this planet. I don't find any reasons of creating so many religions among these animals. I think God is not that small hearted. As we are.

Well as everyone is different...& being different we also have different views on things & stuff. Thats why we have so many different religions.

I am a muslim..i read the Quran. I believe every word of it. I have faith in it. It tells me all i need to know about anything in the world.
And thats how i know that God does exist. In the book, someone had asked God to prove His existence & God did. If you read the Quran you would know.

Anyway..this topic isnt suppose to be discussin abt the existence of God.
It was suppose to be something like 'Interview the person above you'.
People telling their different qns they would like to ask God...& not gettin into a huge discussion.

well, i m not really clear abt lish i.e. what is the real sinerio.

but if it is abt man and man's nature. then, i must say, everything has good and bad side........very very simple and natural truth, and maximum time the views of ppl is changing because they've got a 100% pure different life. and how can b different=same?

my question sould b: why women things they will get freedom only when they will get same respect/value/chances of works etc (though in this case, same=much than man)?

why shoud scrow thinks......it should b scrow-dirver?

and dk and quantum, i must say abt myself , i never find any single valid reason that forced me to think abt my or others' religion. i've born as muslim, i consider it's my luck, my little knoledge sudied it and i found myself more lucky than................so to my side nothing to argue on it. rather there r a lot of subjects that is suffering human beings.............when i really need to think abt something i think i should think abt those.

I do not and will not argue religion unless my opponent is any match.

I will specially gross over the arguements in this thread, because, to be frank, all the ideas are very naive to say the least.

Anyway, I do not think LISH is expecting a serious debate on religion on this thread. Assuming that God exists, just state what you would ask him.

So anyone really want to say anything serious about religion or need any god related question answered, please post in the Personal and Philosophy forum, The ONLY god question thread. I would love to hear your logical arguments. Do not talk about it seriously all over the place. It looks bad and may drive away a stranger. Let us all try to follow this rule, since a lot of us are really interested to talk about it.
