storing and retrieving formatted text from database

hello everyone,
i need to know little abt database programming. i m doing a database programming in java. and now i like to store and retrieve formatted text i.e. text with different font sizes, colors, allignments etc to to store into a ms-access database file and retrieve that data from my java application.

can anyone help me describing the way i should proceed. is it possible? then, what should i do to solve it?

in ms-asscess, generally any thing other than normal data types r stored as OLE object. u've to save ur formatted text file as .rtf file and then store into db as OLE object. and then just retrieve ur contents as u retrieve frm OLE object in VB. To do any additional programming for ur text u need to read that as String and then do any operatioin u like.....

but i can do only one part of ur answer. i can store rtf file to database successfully but what i m facing problem to sow the output in a java component. will u tell me which component i can use to solve that. if possible show me an example
