Forum Rules:
a. Each forum has its dscription on the main page below the link. Post only in the relevent forum, otherwise the post will be moved to the appropiate forum or deleted.
b. Do not flame or use abusive language to the other members.
c. Do not discuss or post links to adult, racial or wareze issues or websites.
d. Write your posts in normal organic manner. Do not use excessive number of capital letters, emoticons, or abnormal languagues. Use standard english wrtiting.
e. Use an appropriate, descriptive title when posting a new topic. Examples of bad titles include; "Help me!", "I'm stuck!", "I've got an error!", etc. Examples of good titles include; "storing byte[] in access db", "Who controls the internet ?", etc.
f. Do not spam. We may let an occassional spam go through in the General Forum as long as the poster is very active and a valuable memebr with us. If your first post is spam I can gurantee you it will be removed.
The rule applies to your signature also. Check out the signature and avatar rules below.
g. The moderating team reserves the right to edit or remove any post at any time. The determination of what is considered as indecent, vulgar, spam, etc. is up to the Moderators and not users.
h. The above forum rules where applicable also apply to private messaging. Abuse of the private messaging system may lead to warnings (as above) and/or the revokation of private messaging. Moderators and admins preserve the right to police private messages if neccessary.
Signatures
a. Maximum of 1 link is permitted in signatures with a maximum of total 4 lines. Such links may be made to your web site, commercial ventures, etc. Links are included within the text and image limits below. Links to offensive websites will be subject to removal.
b. You may include an mage in your signature.
Maximum dimension allowed: 200 by 60
Size: less than 6KB.
c. Text in signatures is subject to the same conditions as posts with respect decency, warez, emoticons, etc.
d. Users abusing these rules will be have their signature modified at first and later banned if the spamming persists.
Avatars
a. Users are encouraged to utilise a gallery avatar or to upload one of their own. User defined avatars are to be no larger than 80 pixels by 80 pixels, contain no image which attempts to portray the user as having an official status here (e.g. mimiking ranks or copying avatars of team members), vulgar or offensive and may not exceed 7KB in filesize.
b. Avatars are subject to the same conditions as posts with respect to decency.
c. Users abusing these rules will be warned and/or may lose their avatar privileges.
Posting Images:
If you are using the img BBCODE to post an image, make sure the image width is less than 400 pixel. This is important, to preserve the look of the forum. Large images take too much time to load the page.
Policing
The forum is constantly monitored and moderators and site admins preserve the right to implement any action as necessary to maintain forum discipline and status.
