7. Do not make doorway pages created just for search engines, or other cookie cutter approaches such as affiliate programs with little or no original content.

10. Do not in anyway, try to cloak your web pages for search engines. That is vistors will see something and the search engines will see something else.

May be, this is relevent also. I have heard that incoming links from the domain on same IP address are counted less on Google PR value than incoming links coming from unique IP addresses. As we know, more and more domains are hosted on shared IP addresses, it may be a good thing to keep in mind and look for links from unique IP addresses. This is gonna be tough, but worth it. The days when a few thousands links from thousands pages of the same website was boosting the PR very high are gone. Now google looks for incoming links from unique IP addresses and counts them as more authoritative.
