If I get your question right, then it is not really a photoshop problem. By a slideshow we usually mean to show one image after another. It can be automated. So that the next picture appears after one automatically. Or the user clicks on a button to go to and see the next picture. Either way you will need more than photoshop for that.
Option one: Use Macromedia Flash to build a slideshow. Flash already has a built in template to generate slideshow. And it could have al sorts of animated effects. Would look kool too. But you will need to have the software, Macromedia Flash (

Option two: Use javascript to build a slideshow. Also more complicated. But there are many free javascripts or dhtml available on the web for free. You can probably just customize one of them to your needs. And it will be viewable by everyone even who does not have any flash plug in.
So let us know what way you wanna go and we will show you how to get there.
Photoshop's job here is upto resizing the images. That's all. For the rest you have to choose one of the above ways.
