lol, nice trick. When I was at university of saskatchewan, I played this trick many a time. Not sure if it still works. Most sensible network adminsitrator don't keep the mail port open to connect with telnet anymore. If you scan extensively on the net, you might just get lucky to find an unsuspecting one.
Looking at the complete header of the email plainly reveals the trick though. _________________

I agree with Quantum. Finding a mail server which offer connection through telnet is really hard.

But sofar only a few companies of Bangladesh are aware of the pain. And its not possible to block that port. It's not a feasible solution. All you need to do is, implement "POP before SMTP".
So?? Just try it. |

Guys, yes, you will not find any server which accepts TELNET on its original telnet port. But you can't stop me telneting on port 25 or on port 110 or other ports which are open.
Got it?
Whynot try telnet on any server?
Start with Hotmail.
telnet mx4.hotmail.com 25

Wow that is great. Now I can send emails as bush@whitehouse.org I shall try it now. I wonder what people would think when they get an email from Bush himself. Or saddam or Madona. _________________ “You might say reality is the result of complex negotiations between the observer and the observed. But that is simply a point of view…”

Don't do this seriously.....just think about perth who has threaded Sheikh Hasina and now he is on jail.....never do this for fun...sometimes it may cost your life.
Just remember your IP always recorded and if you success to hide your IP but you will not hide from your telephone or the broadband service provider. _________________ Just Fly With Your Dreams!!!

There is a rather important matter to point out - I really bang my head with keyboard when someone mixed the word "hack" and "crack". Simply here we are talking about cracking. So, please don't mix it with hacking. Last time I gave very big analysis regarding hacking.

Hope IT people atleast identify the meaning hacking and cracking.

I know the difference between cracking and hacking. But the fact is, all i need is break the security system. If you call it cracking, ok for me. If you call it hacking, also ok for me.
