Redhat enterprise Edition - personal drawback

Dear Netlanders,

I don't know how many of you're using redhat enterprise edition. It's becoming expensive and hard to get. Composite of 6 disks. 3 disks contain basic redhat products. Other 2 cds contains pckg such as database, monitoring tools etc. And it's really hard to get here in BD. There are also several options like registering software with companies, get license code etc.

So, i decided to stuck with fedora core 1. How many of you using kernel 2.6.?

You know what I think? I think you are trying to pay too little a price for that red hat enterprise edition. Red Hat's Enterprise Linux family of operating systems is available on a per-system, annual subscription basis. The subscriptions are offered in three editions: Basic, Standard, and Premium. And you shoould pay at least $2499 every year for the premium version.
