I was little confused with this one. So I thought this information may come in handy to someone else also.
Here is the situation.
I have two audio clips. One is a voice narration, another one is a music loop. I want the sound loop to have a lower volume so that voice can be heard very clearly. The sound loop will sort of run in the background. Now how can I do that? I tried the flash's built in audio edit. Yeah of course, who would have guessed? Only it would'nt work in the first place. I dragged the sound wave line on top near the bottom. But nothing changed. So I sat there thinking how to do it. I installed several audio editing softwares. Like cakewalk pro, sound forge etc. But they looked too complicated and I did'nt have the time to master their interfaces. After wasting some time I got back to the Flash. And guess what you can lower the sound of any track on a separate layer. All you have to do is open the sound editing panel and lower the wave line in the bottom part and the top part both. Bah that was easy!
