University Addmission

According to my knowledge there are 4 private universities in Dhaka where we can study ARCHITECTURE.
1. Brac University
2. Ahsanullah University
3. University of Asia Pacific
4. North-South University.

Brac University starts from 2001
Ahsanullah 1995
Asia Pacific 1996
North South 3 month ago (architecture)

*Do you know any other universities in Dhaka where Architecture have?
*In this 4 universities, what do you think, which University will good for Architecture?
* If you have any relative or friend who are studying in this versities please give me their email. I will contact will them.
* Do you know if i have not qualified in addmission test, Is it possible to addmitt with addmission fees? ( I heard that in private universities, addmission is less important. Money is the main matter)

If you want to study architect then first option should be BUET. I don't know about other universities. But I'm sure about Asia Pacific, total worhtless. I don't know what they teach there. Few people works with me who are graduate from the university. I'm teaching them logic again

Of thoes 4 I prefer NSU. Thats not a problem that they started ARCHITECTURE 4 months ago.

But what about BRAC University? I heared it has very strict rules. Moreover BRAC has got a good name over the world. It should help to get job abroad. But if there any bad properties of BRAC? I heared teachers are so hard in architecture. They don't want to give mark to students.

I can't apply for BUET. I have got GPA 3.60

But its a great dicission for my life to choose the good university for Architecture. There are lots of expenses in Private Universities. Univerities admissions will held at a distance of thime. Brac November 5.
Ahsanullah January. North South January. Asia Pacific February.
Suppose if get chanch to addmitt BRAC, I have to addmitt their within time. But if other universities would held their addmission test nearly time, then I should decide on their student number, teachers appearacne, Number of female students

( he he he ), and other facilities.

I prefer second choice as BRAC. I know some people are at brack and its good but all are from CSC students.

But I can definitely say NSU will be the best of the 4.

But if you intendent to go abroad then NSU and BRAC both are best. But Most of you done cradits will be transfered from NSU.

But you can also try directly to abroad with good IELTS or TOEFL score.

hi himel,
hasnut is right. if u intent to go abroad then NSU & BRAC is the best to choose.
But Ahsanullah is not that bad. Among all departments of Ahsanullah Architecture and Electrical dept is the best. When I passed from Dhaka college my intention was 2 b a doctor like my brother but also was eager to b an architect. When I got the chance in BUET my mother didn't allow bcz her thought was I will be addicted to drugs,long hair,etc to become creative. Terrible past.

I think leave this private university crap and go for abroad to build ur basic strong from the begining. All private, govt are same ; the main thing is u have to build urself by ur own hand.
