Ouch! That's hurt. Mr. Aronok let me explain you something from the basic human rights, As a moderator I won't allow you to copy paste other people documents under your name. If you want to copy & paste please do but use it in quote and also put links or books name where you get it. I think I'm clear to the point. I won't allow anymore discussion on the topic of copyright and copy paste.

Interesting Topic?

I use both Windows and Linux in my everyday time. I do control several host for technical support with linux and windows based servers.

And for my personal and also other developing works I do use windwos.

Both are fine.(allthough, I control linux server from windows)

And I am not fool enough to go one side by reading some posts on

I also suggest Moderator that, remove the post(taken from other site) or wirte the proper URL in that post.

I also want Quantum to delete some of the offensive post from the whole forum. I see your sites forum is highly indexed by google and I want at least one good forum from Bangladesh about IT technology will known by all developers around the world.

I'm not the guy who developed linux ( although if you keep searching, you will find one or two patches of mine which kernel gurus have accepted ) . All i have learned either from books or from other peoples papers. So, i think i have no right to keep my posts available. Thats the reason i have deleted all of those technical posts.

Good and yeah, most of the time i use windows platform to access this forum. But if quantum really try to find, he will found that aronnok also uses mozilla from linux platform.

In linux world, you will find a lot of articles with the name of different guys. Same topic, more than one time posted with more than one writers name. We are like news papers. All we want is to distribute our knowledge.

p.s. It's your choice, here we like to solve the problem which is not being solved yet or people can't find it on the net. If you want to educate us about linux please do post the link and short description about it. I think that's the moto of a programming forum.

Thanks hasnut for the suggestions. It is somewhat touchy subject obviously. A little more consideration is expected from everyone.

It is not quite right to cut and paste large texts from other website for two reasons.

1. If you do that without giving the proper credit to the author, he may mind it.

2. Such posts really do not increase the value of the forum. Because they are old topics and anyone inetrested in those can easily find them out, doing a search. Also Google does not like duplicate contents. Sometimes entire websites get banned from Google for excessive duplicate contents. That's why I am normally opposed to that.

Having said that, I also do not like to restrict our members too much. They should have the liberty of free speech and go little off topic time to time or copy paste, when it is completely useless to reinvent the wheel. We want a community that is naturally well intentioned, helpful, and creative.

So we must hit a balance here. And take the responsibility on our shoulders to make sure we encourage the value of free speech while maintaining proper respect for other people's rights.

I firmly believe, what aronnok did was only out of pure well intention. And we must not blame him for wishing well to the forum and his effort to add valuable contents to the forum.

I have nothing more to say except for urging everyone to be little more lenient and considerate about everyone and everything.

I highly encourage everyone to post as many original topics/problems as possible and be creative. Be your ownselves. That'll naturally encourage google to rank the pages higher and more people to join our little growing community. This forum was created with, what Hasnut so nicely said, in mind:

"I(we) want at least one good forum from Bangladesh about IT technology will known by all developers around the world."

Another thing, is, I heard that linux community is very cooperative and friendly among them. After all, that's the gist of open source! But you three people who work so much with linux(aronnok, dk, tanveer) do not post reply to each others' messages. For instance DK made a post on your favorite Linux Gui. Nobody posted a reply on that! I don't use linux GUI so I can't tell. But those who do should comment. That's the spirite of a discussion forum.

well nice to hear from you again...But it seems to be you are busy and not regular!!! why man....One suggestion for you to get popular linux here.

* No one will interest in Linux ever when they know nothing about its feature.
* You need not to tell people how to change there desktop in Linux when they are not using it.
* First try to tell people why they will use it or try it.
* What software has been released for LInux(I mean Like Adobe, Macromedia...etc) so people can then interest.
* Try to give some Media Type software without the KDE...so people can interest more in it.
* At last all I can say is..give some software solution which people can use in Linux too..when they need them like windows.
