I have been using this program for a long time. And this is the only other program besides my fire wall that starts up with windows. Could not live without it in my day to day life. No matter if I am searching the internet, writing a email, or reading a book or article, this comes in handy. This is the best dictionary I have seen. I specially like the usability of the program. And if you can't find a word in the application it can take you to the web version of it that has a larger word database.

WordWeb:
It includes a comprehensive English thesaurus and dictionary, and can be used to look up words from within most programs. Features of the free version include:

Definitions and synonyms
Proper nouns
Related words
Pronunciations 140 000 root words
115 000 synonym sets
Look up words in almost any program

Wordweb has a pro version which costs you money. But the free version was/is sufficient for me.

Thanks quantum. I feel a bit embarrassed to say that I am not fully back yet. Right now, I am extremely busy with both my MSc and my job and I hardly find any time to come online at all (usually less than an hour per week ! ). To be honest with you, I had no intention of just showing myself suddenly and then disappearing again but when I saw that topic I couldn’t resist myself.

Anyway, lots of changes I can see…both good and bad (in my opinion of course!...nothing to worry about

hmm...sorry to hear that you are in such a rush. But that should be a good thing for you. Hope to see you time to time here. And as always your suggestions are welcome in the Suggestion forum. You did a lot to bring the forum to where it is today. We all appreciate your constructive comments.
