Mobile Application using java

Hi,

I am developing a Mobile application for sending and receiving SMS using java. I am facing problems in getting delivery reports for an SMS send from my mobile. Can anybody from this forum help me out with this?

Thanks for your reply.

I am actually developing an SMS gateway. My application will act as a listener listening for messages from a Nokia mobile and will be routing the message to the corresponding application for processing. Once the messages are processed the response from the corresponding application will be send to the respective mobile. My application is able to send and receive messages, but I want to make sure that I get a delivery report for the messages sent. I am sending the messages in the PDU format. I tried to do the same using the hyperterminal and i was able to receive the delivery report response, but not through my application. I have gone through some documents and I have set the AT commands accordingly, but still unable to acheive it.

I have not worked with SMS gateway itself.
But you will not get delivery report untill the respective mobile gets the delivery report. and Delivery report is same as normal incomming SMS message as you get/receive message.

What you need to do is, Turn on the Mobile option to get Delivery Report.

Hi,

I was able to solve the problem. I was able to receive the delivery report as an sms message in my receive process. Thanks hasnut for giving me the solution.
