Is there a web based free software that can resolve an IP address to the physical location?
I have used neotrace. Version 2.0, I guess. And it was superb. In my napster days, I was impressing a lot of galz by telling where they lived. lol. Neotrace would graphically trace the IP from own location to the destination. Impressive stunt. Unfortunately, I lost the install file. The one I have installed already, falters sometimes. The later versions are no good.
So how do one resolves an IP address to physical addy? I am not talking about simple whois stuff. It should trace the actual cmptr hooked up to the node.
