That's a winmodem. And those modems usually don't work under Linux. Though there is a way. First of all you need to know the chipset of that modem (sorry I couldn't remember the exact name). In order to do that you can download a small piece of software from
http://linmodems.org/ which will help you to detect the chipset of your modem. Then you can search from the driver database from the same site.
I used to use driver from the following site. But unfortunately, that driver only able to transfer data at 14.4 Kbps rate. If you want full function with 56.6 Kbps then you have to buy the driver from them.

Best solution is that you drop the card and buy a card which support both Linux and windows. A bit expensive, I guess 500 TK more. That will save you from heck of mind blowing issues.
