Post Post subject: Network Booting to install linux Reply with quote

Hi all,
I was willing to install linux on my 2nd PC through LAN which dont have any cdrom/floppy. So the problem is actually how to boot that PC on network?
I know abt kickstart but for that u need atleast a floppy drive which I dont wanna use.
Also searching on net I found something called PXE through which its possible but didn't get a clear concept on that though.
Any idea?

Please check the following links:

They have details information about installing linux over network.

may be these links are for you..I don't know anything about LINUX..but I did a search for you and found this link..if this one can't help you..then I'm really sorry.

Install linux from network, without floppy, USB key or CD

Install GNU/Linux without any CD, floppy, USB-key, nor any other removable media
