Hmm... I didn't think about it. But does it have to be in php! You can try yahoo export-import function. Then maybe you can use the saved file from your php script. But I don't know how. Anybody have any idea?

Well.....I don't know anything about php scripting.....but on http://www.birthdayalarm.com when you get register for your service and put your mail address to yahoo or hotmail..then it ask for importing your contacts from your account..and that means IMAK has asked right question and hope someone will come and help him.

But you can try follow the steps
1. Use CRUL for php to internally logon to yahoo
2. go to address book using same way and get all the list of address

But this might not permitted by yahoo, if they find that a automated script is calling their service then will bloke your ip.

If you are affiliated or partner with yahoo than they might give you the access as they have already created this service. [you will see, if you add contact from yahoo messenger, it will automatically goes to the web and also the same way web address book to messenger addressbook]
But it really depends if they give access this service to you or your company.

But as Dinangkur said, you can use desktop app to do this using Yahoo messengers api's

This is rediculous. Okay, so I went and check out softevision.com.
In particular I went to test www.softevision.com/demo/aol.php (you can test this with invalid id and pass) and at the time of writing this all I get is a page parsed through svetlozar.net - nothing has been even stripped out, so you can see clearly that the page was retreived from svetlozar.net and spit out in a table format (some attempt of parsing the output!? not very successful!).
So the question is, do you Masoon Ahmed actually have the the code, and do you have permission to use anyone else's work like this???? I've certainly not given you any permission to use my website for "your" demos! I am happy you like my work, I provide the best quality and the best price (just because I've done all work on my own and I can do that) but I'd appreciate you quit using copyrighted materials claiming they are yours. Where I am located copyright does mean something!
