Post Post subject: Operating System Reply with quote

This question is strange. How does a person write an operating system? I mean what is the basics of sarting to write an operating system. If I want to make one what I need to learn? What programming laguages? And what other things I must know? The thought came to me last night, before I was going to sleep. And I found I do not have any kind of knowledge in this.

Dude,

When you're finished with previous links then go to the following link:

http://mega-tokyo.com/osfaq2/

Another thing, get Linux if you want to try the examples, also get used to with Led Zeppelin musics, it helps, cause you've to be nuts to go with it. In my case I'm simply unable to get through with it :(

Happy Hacking.

DK,

I looked into the first site also. Did you know that it has a very concise but good introduction to basic philosophical terms and ideas? You may want to check that part out. It's in the left side menu-bottom. Also check out the assortments of some major writings by great philosophers of all time. Pretty interesting.
